Wahh. it's time i updated. New year, new post! (:

been pretty busy at school these first few weeks and so i havent really got the time to blog. really had lots going on but i didnt blog about them at all!! )):

Audition
* oh yeah yeah man! (: the audition fright girl, me, actually went. it turned out pretty okay =D

Cheer
* Uh, yeah. im wondering why i joined too -.- hahah and elishea still cant believe it.

Sentosa
*i had so so so so so much fun yesterday! (: me and candy did the butterflies the day before the competition and stayed in school until like seven. Rushed off the next morning to sentosa and started on our garden. It's SO PRETTY. i am so annoyed my bluetooth isn't working and so there ain't any pics! )): The public is free to view it though. Visit Sentosa Flowers 2006 at sentosa island. Its really quite a big event so you won't miss it once you reach sentosa. Watch out for MGS' entry! =D

After fixing up everything and taking group pictures, 8 of us headed to sakae for lunch! (: and aunty fei has fans. teehee. we're all so grateful to her for the treat and all the effort put in. We were supposed to go cycling after lunch but we all got so lazy, mari was the only one still keen on cycling after lunch. Decided to play on the beach instead. We played Catch-The-Seaweed which made ourselves look like idiots because everytime a "wave" came or whenever a big piece of seaweed floated close, we would scream. Hah. Then we decided on sandcastle making but it turned out to be a mini concert and we dug holes so deep water started coming out (:

Saturday
* went to town with my cousin and sister this afternoon. Main purpose was to accompany my sister to get her newyear clothes (she hasn't even gotten any!) ended up buying more stuff for myself again. This pretty necklace and a topshop top (-.- no pun intended). Shopped for quite abit before going home for our reunion dinner. Steamboat as usual (: Watched the 11pm movie, I Not Stupid Too just now and i just got back. This white cat followed us on our way back and it was so cute!! (((((:

It wanted to follow us up but then the lift door closed ): we took some food from the steamboat then went down to feed it and it was still there! =D super cute. But me and my sister ran away (and so did the cat) when we heard this other cat wailing. It was so freaky it sounded like a BABY.

I LOVE MEOW MEOW & all the stuff i bought (which is really quite alot :S)

todays update is on a uber random topic.

rainy days are bad days for shopping. went to the bookstore to get my geog books and Amath book replaced. went to the LIBRARY after that (!!!) shopped with my mom for a while, then i started to get annoyed by something.

PARENTS SHOULD NEVER ALLOW THEIR KIDS TO HOLD UMBRELLAS.

this rule applies, no matter whether they are the long traditional brollies, short foldable ones, those that claim to be UV-protected, kid-sized brollies, those on cakes or floral printed 3-for-$10 kind.

Children are known to be playful and clumsy by nature and therefore i would like to put my point across that they are not suitable to handle such a dangerous object -- an umbrella. i can't say how i am utterly annoyed by 5 year olds constantly opening and closing their bright colored umbrellas in the middle of a shop.

Neither can i take pesky 7 year olds holding the long traditional umbrellas as their "weapon" while acting out episode 47293648 of the power rangers, right smack in the middle of the pavement.

The following rules apply to both adults and children : -

When walking in crowds, please kindly hold your umbrella by the handle, tip down pointing TOWARDS THE FLOOR. the uneccessary poking of peoples' legs is not appreciated.

Do not treat your umbrella like a toy. please do not hold the brolly by its handle and start swinging it beside you 360 degrees. Very much true that 99% of the time, you will not get hurt, the person behind you will.

Kindly bring a plastic bag to store your wet brolly and if you happen to not have plastic bag, kindly please DRY YOUR UMBRELLA AT HOME. please do not pause in the middle of nowhere and start violently shaking your brolly to get all the water out onto the floor (or the poor people passing by)



uh.. that should be it. Maybe we should all stick to cheap $1 disposable ponchos =D
